What happened with LG Optimus One lineup of phones regarding the Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade, is happening all over again with LG Optimus 2X lineup. After a series of confused replies from the Korean phone maker about their Optimus 2X lineup of phones getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, they have finally confirmed about their Optimus 2X phones will get ICS update. Although the final date of the update is not confirmed, LG said on their Facebook page that they will decide the course of ICS update after Google releases the ICS source code in public.
